“Life in our corner of the Cotswolds flows at a peaceful pace, much like the river that flows past our inn, so we know a thing or two about rest and relaxation. Awarded a four gold star rating from The AA for our Cotswolds accommodations, each of our 6 stylish rooms can be found tucked away far from any bustle in a courtyard where wild roses bloom and have been designed to give a real home-from-home experience with vintage furnishings, rain showers or claw-foot tubs and large brass beds, for the ultimate in Cotswolds comfort.
In keeping with the inn’s fabulous waterfront location, each room is named after a fishing fly and many boast stunning views across the river. And when you awake in the morning, you’ll only need to venture downstairs for our good hearty breakfast complete with smoked salmon, kippers, a Full English and an array of freshly prepared pastries, cereals and juices – a breakfast that has won us an AA breakfast award.
DOG FRIENDLY ROOMS
We’re happy to accommodate dogs in our three courtyard rooms for a small extra charge of £15 per dog, and have dog beds and bowls available. Please enquire upon booking.
With the river Thames on our doorstep, naturally our menus are brimming with fresh fish dishes. From trout rarebit or our fish of the day to crayfish from our very own river pots, we take them straight from the river and nearby chalkstreams to your plate in our award-winning AA Rosette Cotswolds pub & restaurant. But we’re still a true country inn as much about forests and fields as rivers and streams, so you’ll always find plenty of hearty classics, steaks and more creative plates of local game to tuck into – washed down nicely with a pint of real ale or a bottle from our carefully chosen wine list.
Please note that as we make all our dishes using only the freshest seasonal produce, our menus change frequently and the menus displayed on our website are samples.”
