“The Wheatsheaf and Pigeon is a community pub also known affectionately as the ‘WEE and PEE’. The pub located the corner of Wheatsheaf Lane and Penton Road between Staines upon Thames and Laleham.
It was built in 1850 as a public house to serve the families of the eel fishermen who lived in the cottages next door. Our cottage style restaurant is cozy, ideal for family gatherings and can seat up to 16 people. Group bookings are always welcomed.
We are always happy to create personal menus to ensure things are perfect for you. If there is special occasion like buffets, parties and any celebrations can also be catered for. The WEE and PEE is perfect for those who want to get the true ‘Traditional Pub’ atmosphere. We are family and dog friendly but please keep both on a leash!
We source our ingredients and products locally and endeavour to cook all our meals fresh to order. We source our meat from Harfords Butchers ensuring only the best quality produce is served to you.
We are the winners of the Best Thames Local Pub 2012/2014/2015 (runner up in 2013) sponsored by the River Thames Guide. Featured in the CAMRA Good Pub Guide 2012 / 2013 / 2014 / 2015 / 2016 / 2017 / 2018 / 2019 and Cask Marque approved, we love our real ales and know you will too. Our Ale changed regularly. (If you have Real Ale that you would love to try, please feel free to ask our friendly staff).”
