Sandstone Trail Accommodation and Other Services
RambleFest displays Sandstone Trail accommodation, Camping, Pubs, Restaurants, Guidebooks and Maps and other services, including website and location links
The Sandstone Trail is a short but excellent path of 34 miles connecting Frodsham to Whitchurch. The path is entirely in Cheshire except for the final leg, which is in Shropshire. Although parts are steep, the climb is always well worth the relatively short effort, and the path is never far from villages.

Notes on Sandstone Trail Accommodation
We have split Sandstone Trail accommodation into Hotels & Inns and Bed & Breakfast. We use the word Inn in its true sense of a pub which provides accommodation, rather than just a romantic name for a pub. Guest House accommodation is included with Bed & Breakfast. While we realise many guest houses are better than some hotels, in order to avoid confusion we have opted for the simpler option. We are always looking to improve our information, and welcome Sandstone Trail accommodation recommendations.
Sandstone Trail Restaurants and Pubs
We have attempted to give as much information as possible on pubs and restaurants along the Sandstone Trail, especially regarding pubs serving real ale and/or food. However, restaurants and pubs are notoriously changeable. Please let us know if our information is out of date.
Sandstone Trail Public Transport
Trail. We have added transport info to the relevant location page, but to assist those initially planning their walk, we have listed all the travel info: Sandstone Trail Public Transport.
