“We have a great reputation for our real ales, and an extensive wine list with many available by the glass. There is also, of course, a large selection of soft drinks, lagers, ciders and spirits.
Dining at The Drewe Arms is a relaxed, informal affair, where you can feast on mouthwatering and tasty dishes, sourced from local suppliers, where we can,  and cooked with passion by our excellent chefs.
With friendly staff, a warm welcome and an unbeatable setting, come and stop by and see for yourself.
Dogs on leads are welcome in the bar, as are well behaved children.
The Drewe Arms has the honour of being listed on CAMRA’s inventory of historic pub interiors. The pub itself has evolved out of a series of cottages, with two rooms reserved for those who want to partake in an ale or two by the fire, while taking in the atmosphere of this unspoilt, ancient pub.
The bar is a cosy and intimate room, with fixed seating, benches and tables and a toasty open log fire. There is no counter; drinks are served from three serving hatches, which have remained unchanged for centuries. Take a look at the website video – to see the legendary Aunt Mabel Mudge in action, landlady of The Drewe for 75 years!
Take a well deserved break in one of the relaxing and stylish bedrooms within the pub: one double with ensuite shower room, one double with private bathroom (can be converted to twin). Both provide the perfect place for a great night’s sleep, and a great base for exploring all the natural beauty of the area. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities with breakfast provided the following morning.”

“The Old Inn is a substantial building dating from the seventeenth century. With a large number of outbuildings at the back of the Inn, the property was obviously not short of custom, providing stabling, food, drink and accommodation to stagecoaches and mail coaches.
Coaching inns provided a vital link to inland transportation from the seventeenth century until the arrival of the steam engine, replacing tired teams of horses and extending hospitality to those travelling the roads. While coaching inns were normally spaced seven miles apart, distances could vary, particularly in more inhospitable or remote areas such as Dartmoor.
Three ensuite individually appointed rooms, with comfortable king size beds.
Open for dinner Wednesday to Saturday evenings and other times by arrangement – call to book.”
