There are certain things to ask for when staying away..clean, crisp linen is one of them. Your own private bathroom is another. Definitely a place to eat and drink (alcohol please), and a mega breakfast.
Why stay at the Red Lion?
We are literally 5 minutes walk from the town centre. We have a good range of drinks and food in the lounge or restaurant.
Guests always comment on how relaxing it is here and how friendly the staff and locals are. Want to find out for yourself?
Finding the best place to eat out in Matlock doesn’t have to be a task. The Red Lion buys its meats from the best butcher in the area, veggies from the top supplier in town. These all go into our home made dishes when you eat at the Red Lion in Matlock.
Come and have a drink at the Red Lion in Matlock Green and visit the home of the Moot Oak brewing company.”
