“The Highland Laddie Inn, in Glasson, Cumbria, has been run by landlord Mark Messenger for a number of years. It offers a warm, friendly place to eat and drink in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside. At the Northern end of the Cumbrian peninsula, The Highland Laddie is just a stone’s throw from the Solway Firth, the building itself is around 300 years old, built from the stone of the Roman Wall. Situated in an area of natural beauty, we have attracted visitors from all over the world that come to the area in search of unusual forms of wildlife and activities. Local wildlife attractions include the Drumburgh Moss National Nature Reserve, Finglandrigg Woods National Nature Reserve and the South Solway Mosses National Nature Reserve, as well as the Lake District being just a short drive away.
A Belhaven Greene King Brewery pub, we offer Fine Wines and quality Real Ales from our fully-stocked bar.
We offer quality food made from fresh local produce, with something for everyone and a high standard of quality.”
