“The farmhouse itself dates back to the 17th century and has been refurbished in recent times to provide spacious accommodation for eight, with all four modern bedrooms haveing en-suites. The ground floor is furnished in a more traditional, yet comfortable style and has a wealth of exposed beams, that all important open fireplace and sunny conservatory from where to take in the tremendous views and watch visiting sheep!
En suite accommodation is provided for up to eight people.
Full central heating with tea and coffee making facilities provided in each room.

“Thwaite Farm and Cottage enjoy a stunning location alongside the River Lune near the small hamlet of Howgill in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Cottage has magnificent panoramic views of the Howgill Fells. Thwaite is a working farm with beef cattle and sheep. Howgill is about three miles from the small lovely market town of Sedbergh.
Thwaite cottage adjoins the end of the farmhouse and has recently been rebuilt and fully equipped. It is self-contained and sleeps six people with accommodation on two floors.
Facilities include: kitchen/dining room, living room, two double bedrooms and a WC with shower. There is a sofa-bed in the lounge.
The cottage is centrally heated with an oil stove in the kitchen and radiators in the other rooms. Duvets and bed linen are provided. Towels are available for a small additional charge of £5 per week. There is a washing machine and drier and the water supply is from our own spring.”
