START OF THE WEALDWAY AND THE SAXON SHORE WAY
Gravesend has plenty of accommodation, pubs and restaurants, and has good transport links.
As might be expected, the Saxon Shore Way follows the River Thames for a while, while the Wealdway heads inland.
