Wallingford
RIDGEWAY: 49¼ MILES FROM OVERTON HILL, PLUS 1¼ MILES OFF ROUTE
THAMES PATH: 76¾ MILES FROM ITS SOURCE
Although Wallingford and Crowmarsh Gifford are the same mileage along the Thames Path, Wallingford is on the west side of the Thames, and Crowmarsh Gifford is on the east. Wallingford is much larger, but Crowmarsh Gifford has camping sites.

Rail
The Cholsey and Wallingford Railway is a two and a half mile branchline that links Wallingford with the Great Western mainline at Cholsey.
The trains are either steam or diesel, and the service is limited.
