Ironbridge
96 MILES ALONG THE SHROPSHIRE WAY FROM SHREWSBURY
Ironbridge absolutely reeks of history! It may not have the tudor houses of other parts of the Shropshire Way, but Ironbridge was extremely important in the Industrial Revolution, and therefore world history. It is well worth taking a day out from walking to visit the various museums.
The world's first iron bridge is at, of all places, Ironbridge
