ICKNIELD WAY: 5 MILES FROM START
RIDGEWAY: 82¼ MILES FROM OVERTON HILL, PLUS 1 MILE OFF ROUTE
Although Tring is around five miles off the Icknield Way, most people will arrive here for the walk as it has a rail station.
Tring is nearer the Ridgeway, making it a suitable stopping point either during or at the end of the walk.
There is much choice about accommodation, pubs and restaurants. It also has a has a rail station.
