Thetford is roughly 6 miles from Knettishall Heath, start of the Peddars Way and finish of the Angles Way and Icknield Way long-distance footpaths. However, public transport links to Knettishall Heath are not great from anywhere, and we would recommend a taxi or minicab to/from Thetford (see list below).
