Dorking

28¼ MILES ALONG THE NORTH DOWNS WAY FROM FARNHAM, PLUS 1 MILE OFF ROUTE

DorkingDorking is a mile off route, but has all the services the long-distance walker could require.

According to which rail station, or where accommodation is booked, the North Downs Way walker can exit the route from either Ranmore Common and walking along Ranmore Road into Dorking, or taking the Mole Gap Trail south into Dorking Mole Gap Trail

Public Transport

Some places deserve a rail station but do not have one; Dorking more than makes up for this by having three stations in close proximity. Dorking West and Dorking Deepdene are on the same line and serve those travelling east-west. Dorking rail station serves those travelling north-south, and is on the same line as the station at Westhumble.
