Norfolk Coast Path

Norfolk Coast PathThe Norfolk Coast Path is usually combined in guidebooks with the Peddars Way, although there is obviously no obligation about walking both. The main reason for combining the two is that one is considered too short.
We have chosen to split the paths; those wishing to walk both can easily access our Peddars Way info.
The RambleFest Norfolk Coast Path pages are intended for anyone who loves the countryside and wishes to find accommodation, camping, pubs, restaurants, camping shops and public transport on or close to the long-distance footpath. To make use of this site you do not have to walk the whole route, nor even part of it, but if you do, good luck to you.
Not only do we show you where to find accommodation and places to eat and drink (click in table below), but we show the guidebooks and maps required, and make them available to buy online.

Norfolk Coast Path Accommodation

There is plenty of accommodation on the Norfolk Coast Path. We have split accommodation into Hotels & Inns and Bed & Breakfast, and have included Guest House accommodation with Bed & Breakfast. While we realise many guest houses are as good, if not better than, some hotels, in order to avoid confusion we have opted for the simpler option.
We are always looking to improve our information, and welcome accommodation recommendations.

Norfolk Coast Path Restaurants and Pubs

Cley Mill on the Norfolk Coast PathWe have attempted to give as much information as possible on pubs and restaurants along the Norfolk Coast Path, especially as to pubs that serve real ale and/or food; but restaurants and pubs are notoriously changeable. Please let us know if our information is out of date.

Norfolk Coast Path

Norfolk Coast Path Public Transport

Trains
King's Lynn Rail Station is the nearest rail station to the start of the Norfolk Coast Path, and is located in Blackfriars Road, King’s Lynn [map].
The Coasthopper bus service can be taken from here to Hunstanton, the start of the path.

Bus Service
Walkers of the Norfolk Coast Path path are very lucky to have the Coasthopper bus service. It connects Kings Lynn to Cromer, and for the Norfolk Coast Path walker (and others!) stops at Hunstanton, Old Hunstanton, Holme, Thornham, Titchwell, Brancaster, Brancaster Staithe, Burnham Deepdale, Burnham Overy Staithe, Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea, Stiffkey, Morston, Blakeney, Cley, Salthouse, Weybourne, Sheringham, West Runton, East Runton and Cromer

The Coasthopper bus service makes the Norfolk Coast Path extremely easy to walk in smaller sections.

Norfolk Coast Path Photographs and Logs

We want to display as many photographs as possible of the Norfolk Coast Path, and there is always room for your photographs and walk logs - just email them to us. Alternatively, if you have them online you can send us the link.
