Limestone Way
This Peak District path is a long-distance walk in miniature: it has all the villages and dramatic scenery one would expect on a much longer trail. The Limestone Way is 49¼ miles from Rocester to Castleton, plus two spurs, one of 2¾ to Ashbourne, and another of 2¼ miles to Matlock, making the Limestone Way a total of 54¼ miles.
Not only do we show you where to find accommodation and places to eat and drink (click in table below), but we show the guidebooks and maps required, and make them available to buy online.

We have split Limestone Way accommodation into Hotels & Inns and Bed & Breakfast. Guest House accommodation is included with Bed and Breakfast, and while we realise many of them are as good as some hotels, in order to avoid confusion we have opted for the simpler option. We have included approximate distance of accommodation from the Limestone Way.
Limestone Way Restaurants and Pubs
We have attempted to give as much information as possible regarding whether the pubs along the Limestone Way serve real ale and/or food, but restaurants and pubs are notoriously changeable. We welcome any additional information to our lists of restaurants and pubs. Where known, we have included distances of pubs and restaurants from the Limestone Way.
