START OF THE DALES WAY AND FINISH OF THE EBOR WAY
Ilkley is a great place to use as a base for exploring the area. It has a variety of accommodation, good eating and drinking establishments (including Camra real ale pubs), good transport links, and camping and rambling gear shops.
