Libanus
85¼ MILES ALONG THE CAMBRIAN WAY FROM CARDIFF, PLUS 4 MILES OFF ROUTE
This is another of the off-route places which frequent the Cambrian Way and enables the walk to be done without great distances between accommodation. Note the accommodation here is spread over a wide area.
Leave the Cambrian Way at Storey Arms and head roughly north-west (initially) along the Taff Trail / Beacons Way.
Alternatively, leave the Cambrian Way at
Corn Du [MAP], 79¾ miles along the main route, and head roughly north-west to the Obelisk (marked on OS maps). After the obelisk there is a choice of two paths which later converge at Modrydd. From there walk along the road to Libanus and a well-earned rest for the night. This path to Libanus is 4 miles.
