Cambrian Way
The Cambrian Way is a 275 mile walk connecting Cardiff in South Wales to Conwy on the North Wales Coast, and involves a total of just over 60,000 feet of ascent.
Consequently, it should not be undertaken lightly. It requires, at the very least, good navigational skills.
The Cambrian Way is a first-class walk for those who prefer the open moor and high ground. We advise reading as much information as possible before taking on the walk.
Not only do we show you where to find accommodation and places to eat and drink (click in table below), but we show the guidebooks and maps required, and make them available to buy online.

Cambrian Way Accommodation
We have split Cambrian Way accommodation into Hotels & Inns and Bed & Breakfast. Guest House accommodation is included with Bed and Breakfast, and while we realise many of them are as good as some hotels, in order to avoid confusion we have opted for the simpler option.

Restaurants and Pubs
We have attempted to give as much information as possible of restaurants and pubs along the Cambrian Way, but restaurants and pubs are notoriously changeable. Wherever known, we have included information on those pubs serving real ale and/or food. Please let us know if our information is out of date.
Cambriab Way Guidebooks & Maps

We have greatly improved our Ramblefest-Amazon store and made it very easy to find the books and maps required for your walk. Please click on the Guidebook or Map image to be taken to the relevant guidebooks and maps for the Cambrian Way, many other outdoors books and maps, and the option of buying them online.
There are many, many other guidebooks and maps in our store. Take a look!
Cambrian Way Forum
We have added a forum for those wishing to place or gain additional information or opinion on the various aspects of the Cambrian Way long-distance footpath. Cambrian Way Forum.
